GIS (Industrial and Genomics Group) will showcase a range of smart automotive and near-eye display technologies and products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the United States from January 7 to 10. These include head-up displays, low-reflection coating technology, Mini LED touch display modules, and waveguide display modules, which will bring a brand-new display experience.
In light of the booming applications of artificial intelligence, 5G networks, and the Internet of Things, the demand for smart living has increased significantly. GIS, leveraging its existing capabilities in optical, mechanical, and electronic integration technologies, is actively investing in next-generation applications such as automotive and metaverse, with promising results already achieved. This exhibition will include:
Smart in-vehicle systems:
- Head-up Displays (HUDs): These provide real-time AR-integrated driving information, enhancing driving safety. The company's products feature wide viewing angles and local dimming capabilities, delivering high-brightness, high-contrast, clear images with low power consumption. Additionally, an AR HUD developed using waveguide technology was showcased, significantly reducing device size and representing a next-generation, forward-looking solution.
- Low-reflection glass coating technology: It has the characteristics of automotive-grade weather resistance, low reflection and low color difference, which can significantly improve driving safety and interior quality.
- Mini LED Touch Display Module: Leveraging GIS's extensive experience in integrating automotive display modules, this product utilizes Mini-LED design, bonding, and coating integration to provide ultra-large 1,500mm column-to-column display screens and integrate multiple displays. Compared to traditional LCD backlight products, the product features high contrast, high brightness, and energy savings.
Optical waveguide near-eye display module
GIS will also showcase its AR glasses waveguide solution, integrating a light engine for high-quality image display and ultra-thin design. This product supports single-color or full-color displays and offers customized optical and mechanical designs to meet specific needs, providing more flexible solutions for future near-eye devices and wearable devices.
