On January 25th, BOE announced on its official WeChat account that its Zhuhai BOE Crystal Core Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BOE Technology Group, recently held a lighting ceremony, marking a new production stage for its Mini LED production line. At the ceremony, Zhuhai Crystal Core's COB products were successfully lit up.

It is reported that Zhuhai Crystal Technology has further improved its production efficiency and product quality through the upgrade of its COB production line. The upgraded production line can not only meet the needs of large-scale production, but also greatly improve the stability and accuracy of the products, ensuring the competitiveness of Mini LED products in the global market.

According to public information, in June 2024, BOE Huacan Optoelectronics announced that it would jointly invest with BOE Jingxin Technology to establish Zhuhai BOE Jingxin Technology Co., Ltd. The registered capital of Zhuhai Jingxin is expected to be RMB 607 million, of which BOE Huacan Optoelectronics will contribute RMB 182 million, accounting for 29.98% of the registered capital, and Jingxin Technology plans to contribute RMB 425 million, accounting for 70.02% of the registered capital.
In September 2024, Zhuhai BOE Crystal Core Technology Co., Ltd. was officially unveiled, marking the full launch of BOE's MLED Zhuhai plan. The project, with a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, is located in the Huafa Pingsha Electronics and Electrical Industrial Park, covering a factory area of over 40,000 square meters. Construction was scheduled to begin in September 2024, equipment installation was completed by the end of December, and MLED direct-display products were expected to be lit up and mass-produced in the first quarter of 2025.
