Recently, HKC, KTC and MSI have successively released a number of new Mini LED monitors, focusing on core technological highlights such as high local dimming backlight, AI intelligent optimization and high refresh rate.
HKC to launch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display
On May 17, HKC announced several new monitors that will be showcased at the main venue of COMPUTEX 2025 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
In the Mini LED backlighting field, HKC will launch the G32M12Max monitor. This product features 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, with over 9000 backlight zones, reaching a level comparable to tens of thousands, which is expected to improve brightness control precision and alleviate the halo problem commonly seen in Mini LED displays. It has also received VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
HKC announced the launch of the world's first 116-inch Mini LED giant screen display on April 29th this year. This product is manufactured on the G8.6 high-generation line and uses MMG (Multi-Model on Glass) overlay technology, increasing the glass substrate utilization rate to 94%. This technology effectively improves production efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs while ensuring high mass production yield.
KTC launches 27-inch 200Hz Mini LED monitor
On May 18th, it was announced that a 27-inch monitor from KTC, model "M27T6S," has been listed on JD.com. It features 2K resolution and a 200Hz refresh rate with Mini LED display technology, priced at 1399 yuan. The first sale will begin at 8 PM on May 19th.

This product features a native 200Hz Mini LED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 and 1152 zones. It has a nominal response time of 2ms, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, and supports 10-bit color depth output with 8-bit + FRC.
In terms of functionality, the monitor stand features height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, supports VESA 100×100mm wall mounting, has a built-in power supply, and includes one DP 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
MSI Releases 27-inch Mini LED Gaming Monitor
On May 16th, MSI officially released its new 27-inch Mini LED gaming monitor – the MPG 274URDFW E16M, highlighting its dual-mode display and AI intelligent features. This product is equipped with a fast-response IPS panel, supporting a 160Hz refresh rate at UHD resolution and a maximum 320Hz refresh rate at FHD resolution, with a response time as low as 0.5 milliseconds (GtG).

Thanks to Mini LED and quantum dot technology, this display boasts 1,152 local dimming zones, delivering high brightness, deep contrast, and rich color performance. In terms of color gamut, it covers 98% DCI-P3, 100% Adobe RGB, and 140% sRGB, with a color accuracy of Delta E ≤ 2.
The MPG 274URDFW E16M also features a built-in AI navigator that supports automatic activation of the AI menu and optimizes display parameters based on the game scenario, including AI vision, aiming assistance, and brightness and contrast adjustment. Its AI dual-mode function intelligently switches between resolution and refresh rate to improve response efficiency.
In terms of interfaces, this device is equipped with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, and a USB Type-C port that supports 98W power delivery, and comes with a four-way adjustable stand. Furthermore, the product features a new white exterior, 44 LED beads, supports Mystic Light RGB lighting effects and Windows Dynamic Lighting certification, enabling synchronized lighting effects across multiple devices.
