The LED cinema screen industry is developing at an increasingly rapid pace. Recently, China's first 4K 20-meter VLED cinema screen was officially installed in Beijing. Furthermore, the application scope of LED cinema screen projection systems is expanding, not only covering traditional cinemas but also extending for the first time to giant-screen cinemas in science and technology museums, opening up entirely new application scenarios.

On November 20th, the nation's first 4K 20-meter VLED cinema screen was installed at Wanda Cinema (Changping Wanda Plaza VLED Store), marking the official commercial launch of the 4K 20-meter VLED cinema screen. Simultaneously, Wanda Cinema and China Film Group Corporation signed a strategic agreement on VLED cinema screens, initiating in-depth cooperation between the two parties.

It is reported that the brightness of the VLED LED cinema screen can reach up to 230% of that of a regular cinema, which can not only present more scene details, but also enable experiences such as watching movies with the lights on; equipped with China Film Optics Peak's self-developed LED dedicated server, it can also support 4K 120 frame content playback.
VLED LED cinema screen is a theater projection solution launched by China Film Optics. Currently, the VLED product family has basically achieved coverage of 10 meters, 14 meters, 16 meters and 20 meters, and VLED LED cinema screens have been installed in nearly 20 cinemas in more than ten cities in China.
China Film Technology applies its LED cinema screen projection system to the giant screen theater at the science and technology museum.
Recently, China Film Technology successfully won the bid for the renovation and upgrading of the giant screen theater at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. China Film Technology will provide a series of supporting facilities and services, including a high-tech format projection system with core independent intellectual property rights under a state-owned brand, customized science and education program production, and film and television technology exhibitions.
This marks the first time that CINITY LED technology has been applied to a major science and technology museum's giant screen theater project, following its application in the Henan Science and Technology Museum, China Science and Technology Museum, and Anhui Science and Technology Museum giant screen theater projects. It is also the world's first project to apply an LED cinema screen projection system to a science and technology museum's giant screen theater.
It is reported that the CINITY science projection system selected by the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum features CINITY LED as its highlight. Its screen size is 23.68 meters * 18 meters, and it is installed on a curved surface in the horizontal direction. It is a special projection system specially built and designed by China Film CINITY for the huge screens of science and education venues. It can provide exclusive content and plate-making services for science and education venues, and has the ability to project content in multiple aspect ratios such as 1.33:1, 1.43:1, 1.85:1, and 2.39:1.

Furthermore, the CINITY science projection system used at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is compatible with seven major film projection technologies, including 4K, 3D, high brightness, high frame rate, high dynamic range, wide color gamut, and immersive sound. Simultaneously, the CINITY LED screen in this projection system uses a fully perforated acoustically transparent screen. By mimicking the acoustic perforations of a traditional screen, it effectively solves problems such as sound localization in LED sound reproduction solutions, achieving sound reproduction effects consistent with or even better than traditional screens.
