On November 14th, Meizu Technology reported that Alipay+, a global integrated wallet gateway service under Ant International, launched the world's first iris payment solution integrated into smart glasses, and it was first installed on Meizu's latest StarV eye-tracking solution exploration version concept phone.

According to reports, the Meizu StarV Eye-Tracking Solution Explorer Edition concept phone features a high-precision eye-tracking module, a built-in 12-megapixel AI camera, and a Micro LED ultra-small optical engine, achieving a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It's a fully functional concept prototype integrating camera, display, and eye-tracking capabilities. The Meizu StarV concept phone also features optimized design in terms of ergonomics and weight, making it suitable for all-day wear. It is expected to cover several application scenarios in the future, such as eye-tracking interaction and iris-based secure payment.
The iris payment solution featured in the Meizu StarV concept phone is based on Ant Financial's trusted connection technology, gPass. By capturing and comparing over 260 iris biometric points, combined with AI algorithms and liveness detection technology, it can effectively resist fraudulent methods such as screen retouching and 3D masks. Thanks to its self-developed imaging enhancement algorithm, the system maintains high recognition accuracy even in complex lighting conditions.
With the support of the iris payment solution, after the Meizu StarV concept phone system recognizes the payment code, users only need to confirm the amount by voice, and can complete identity verification and payment through iris scanning without having to take out their phone or wallet.
It's worth noting that, in addition to the Meizu StarV, Thunderbird Innovation also partnered with Ant Group in August to launch the world's first glasses-based payment system supporting full-color glasses.
