On August 12, Chongqing UME Cinema announced that it plans to open two new stores in Chongqing by the end of September 2025, namely the Jiang'an Tianjie LED MaX store and the Longxing Tianjie store.
Located in the core business district of Nanping, Nan'an District, Chongqing, the Jiang'an Tianjie Cinema has 8 theaters and approximately 1,100 seats. Its main highlight is Chongqing's first "4K fully acoustically transparent curved LED MaX giant screen theater," with a screen length of approximately 20 meters, a resolution of 4096×2160, a pixel pitch of P5, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a screen aperture ratio four times that of traditional screens.

The screen is a Lopu full-transparent LEDMAX cinema screen, compatible with DOLBY and GDC cinema servers. Its brightness is 6 times that of a regular cinema, and it features 16-bit high grayscale, DCI-P3 wide color gamut and HDR high dynamic range, with a black level contrast ratio of ∞:1.
Located in Longxing Tianjie, Liangjiang New Area, the Longxing Tianjie Cinema has a total of 6 theaters with approximately 850 seats. Among them, the UME DMAX giant screen theater provides a large screen and realistic sound effects, while there are also two trendy reclining theaters with extra-wide seat spacing.
