TCL becomes a global partner of the Olympics.
On February 20th, the TCL & Olympic Global Partner Signing Ceremony was held at the Water Cube in Beijing. This signing marks TCL's official status as a global partner of the Olympic Games. In future cooperation, TCL will provide technical, product, and service support to the Olympic Movement in the fields of smart terminals and panel displays, primarily televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines.
Thanks to the success of its dual-brand strategy of "TCL + Thunderbird" and its focus on "mid-to-high-end + large screens," TCL TVs have continued to grow in global market shipments, reaching 29 million units in 2024, a 14.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Among them, the fourth quarter saw significant growth in shipments, with substantial increases both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year.
In the Chinese market, TCL Electronics' "dual-brand strategy" continues to advance. In 2024, TCL TV shipments increased by 5.8% year-on-year, with the average size increasing to 63.3 inches. Mini LED TV shipments achieved a significant growth of 264.7%.
At CES 2025, TCL launched the X11K QD-Mini LED TV, equipped with 14,000-level dimming zones, 6,500 nits peak brightness, and global halo control technology, bringing a new technological breakthrough to the high-end TV market.

Hisense will collaborate with FIFA to create the Club World Cup.
On February 19th, Hisense held a preview event for its flagship new products for the Club World Cup in Beijing. At the event, a Hisense representative stated that Hisense will work with FIFA to create a Club World Cup infused with high-tech elements. Simultaneously, Hisense will leverage this platform to continuously increase its investment in product research and development and technology.
It is reported that on October 30th last year, Hisense officially announced itself as the first global official partner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and released the 110-inch Club World Cup official customized AI TV UX. The product boasts over 40,000 local dimming zones, an industry-leading peak brightness of 10,000 nits, and an industry-leading 90% BT.2020 color gamut, supporting a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.
