Among them, Yuanxu Semiconductor's Tianjin Micro LED Super Factory has officially started trial production, Weishi Electronics' high-end backlight display module and smart decorative display panel projects have started production, and Marelli's automotive lighting industrial park project has started construction in Changchun.
Yuanxu Semiconductor's Tianjin Micro LED Super Factory Commences Trial Production
On March 28, Yuanxu Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuanxu Semiconductor") held a grand ceremony in Tianjin Binhai High-tech Zone to mark the commissioning and trial production of its Tianjin Super Factory.

According to reports, Yuanxu Semiconductor's Tianjin Super Factory focuses on breakthroughs across the entire chain of next-generation Micro LED display technology. Currently, the construction of the first phase of the Micro-LED integrated packaging module production line has fully entered the equipment implementation stage, completing the selection of core production equipment technologies and matrix layout, with an equipment procurement order investment of approximately 40 million yuan.
In terms of semiconductor-grade precision equipment configuration, the factory has invested in more than 50 types of equipment, totaling more than 100 units. The equipment has now been successfully put into operation and commissioning. It is expected that by the end of October this year, the factory will have invested approximately RMB 120 million in cutting-edge core equipment, with a scale exceeding 400 units, thus building a full-process intelligent manufacturing system for Micro LED integrated packaging.
Furthermore, this production line encompasses four core segments: chip manufacturing, mass transfer, advanced packaging, and optoelectronic integration, forming a vertically integrated industrial chain layout from Micro-LED display chips and advanced integrated packaging to next-generation smart display products. Yuanxu Semiconductor's next-generation smart display products feature higher resolution, contrast, viewing angles, and superior energy-saving characteristics.
According to public information, Yuanxu Semiconductor was founded in 2014. It is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and sales of semiconductor optoelectronic materials and wafer products. Its products are widely used in many fields such as semiconductor lighting, next-generation displays and deep ultraviolet sterilization.
According to a news release from Kunshan Development Zone, the Weishi Electronics high-end backlight display module and smart decorative display panel project officially commenced production on the morning of March 28. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 3 billion yuan.

Weishi Electronics is mainly engaged in the research, development, production and sales of products such as backlight display modules, LCD display modules and smart display components. The company's products are mainly used in mid-to-high-end automobiles, VR, digital cameras, small game consoles, tablet computers and other fields.
In 2024, in line with the development trend of automotive display products towards larger screens, multiple screens, and irregularly shaped screens, Weishi Electronics achieved mass production of ultra-large size and curved screen automotive backlight display modules, and the sales volume of medium and large size display products continued to increase. At the same time, the company actively deployed Mini LED technology, and the company's new Mini LED backlight product project has entered the mass production stage.
In terms of performance, Weishi Electronics' operating revenue in 2024 was RMB 2,027,347,600, a year-on-year increase of 29.31%, and its net profit attributable to the parent company was RMB 55,984,100, a year-on-year decrease of 52.56%.
With a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, the Marelli Automotive Lighting Industrial Park project commenced construction . According to the Changchun New Area News Center, on March 28th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the first quarter of Changchun's 2025 development plan and the Beihu Future Science City plan was held in Changchun New Area. The Marelli Automotive Lighting Industrial Park, located in the Economic Development Zone, was also scheduled to begin construction simultaneously.
The total investment is approximately 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 36,700 square meters and a building area of 24,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed in December this year and will mainly produce car lights for models such as BMW, Hongqi, and Rolls-Royce.

In terms of products, in February 2024, Marelli unveiled its new h-Digi Micro LED automotive lighting module, integrating 25,600 pixels, weighing only 600g, with a lens size of 40x50mm and an aspect ratio of 1:4.
