LED leader FLC will launch new Micro LED production capacity, partnering with Neptunus to expand Micro LED output. Analysts are optimistic that FLC has a chance to achieve its full-year profit target. In recent years, FLC has been actively developing the Micro LED field, leveraging Neptunus's one-stop solutions and technology transfer to expand into the TV and automotive industries.
Since last year, Fu-Cai has made significant adjustments to its operational structure and resource allocation. Analysts pointed out that it has made significant improvements in the front-end epitaxial process of Micro LED, and its chip carrier and wafer-level packaging technologies have also been adopted by customers for trial production and mass production projects. The new production capacity in Miaoli is expected to be put into use by the end of the first quarter of this year.
Fu-Cai enhances its silicon photonics layout and launches a more efficient micro light-emitting diode using the binary semiconductor material indium phosphide. This is a new generation of display technology and also a highly anticipated focus for the next stage of silicon photonics.
Fu-Tsai emphasized that in the future, in addition to cooperating with Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) to promote the field of optical communications, the transformation of its parent company AU Optronics (AUO) in recent years has also yielded results. By joining the silicon photonics technology alliance led by TSMC, AUO will leverage the group's resources to expand its operating scale.
