On February 21, RoboSense held a ceremony in Shenzhen to mark the production of its 1 millionth LiDAR unit, and on February 24, officially delivered the unit to Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Humanoid Robot Company"). This signifies that RoboSense has become the world's first company to achieve the production of one million high-line-count LiDAR units.
On the same day, the roll-off ceremony was held at RoboSense's Beta Manufacturing Base in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Workers affixed a custom-made commemorative plaque inscribed with "1,000,000th" to a brand-new E1R all-solid-state digital LiDAR robot that had just rolled off the production line, and gathered relevant production line staff for a group photo. After the ceremony, the E1R and the commemorative plaque were immediately transported to their next destination—Pudong, Shanghai.
On February 24, RoboSense officially delivered its 1 millionth LiDAR unit, E1R, to "Qinglong," a full-size general-purpose humanoid robot from "Humanoid Robotics Company."
At the delivery site, Xing Boyang, R&D Director of the "Humanoid Robot Company," said, "Congratulations to RoboSense on the production of its 1 millionth LiDAR unit. The National and Local Jointly Constructed Humanoid Robot Innovation Center has adopted RoboSense's E1R LiDAR to conduct joint product innovation on the 'Qinglong' humanoid robot's public version machine."
"Qinglong" is the world's first full-size open-source humanoid robot independently developed by "Humanoid Robot Company" (National and Local Jointly Constructed Humanoid Robot Innovation Center). It has a highly biomimetic torso configuration and humanoid motion control, supports multimodal maneuvering, perception, interaction and manipulation, has up to 43 active degrees of freedom, a maximum joint peak torque of 400 N.m, a computing power of 400 TOPs, and can walk at a speed of 1 m/s when carrying a load of 40 kg.
"Humanoid Robot Company" is one of RoboSense's solid partners in the humanoid robot industry. Through E1R and a series of technical support, RoboSense will help "Qinglong" accelerate the development, deployment, and implementation of multi-scenario tasks.
