E Ink Holdings, a global leader in electronic paper, today (10th) announced the launch of its largest E Ink Spectra™ 6 product to date—a 75-inch color electronic paper, setting a new standard for sustainable digital signage displays. The unveiling of the 75-inch E Ink Spectra™ 6 color electronic paper follows the debut of the 75-inch E Ink Kaleido™ 3 product at this year's ISE exhibition, demonstrating E Ink's continued strategic focus on large-size electronic paper solutions.
"The new 75-inch E Ink Spectra 6 display is a significant milestone for E Ink in its continued drive for innovation and sustainable digital signage applications," said Lee Cheng-hao, Chairman of E Ink Holdings. "Its high color saturation, full-color display, and extreme energy efficiency provide advertisers, brands, and retailers with a brand-new display experience, effectively attracting consumers' attention while reducing environmental impact. We expect this technology to bring a revolutionary display mode to indoor digital advertising applications."
The 75-inch Spectra 6-color e-paper supports E Ink Ripple™ technology—a next-generation waveform and algorithm architecture that significantly improves the smoothness of image updates and enhances color performance, further strengthening advertising effectiveness. Through the optimization of E Ink Ripple™ rhythm and transition updates, it effectively attracts attention and extends the time customers spend in front of the e-paper advertising billboard, thereby increasing advertising interaction rates.
Applications of the 75-inch E Ink Spectra 6 include advertising billboards, information displays, directional signage, and corporate and retail brand displays. The large-size, full-color e-paper enhances viewing appeal and communication efficiency. Key features of the E Ink Spectra 6 color e-paper include:
- Vivid, high-color display to meet the needs of commercial applications
- Ultra-low power consumption design, operating temperature between 0 and 50°C
- Real-time dynamic updates replace static paper posters, improving space utilization efficiency and operational flexibility.
E Ink electronic paper technology uses electricity only when updating content, making it extremely energy efficient and non-emissive, relying on ambient light to display images. Compared to paper and LCDs, electronic paper technology significantly reduces power consumption and carbon emissions. E Ink Holdings positions electronic paper as a green product, establishing its unique PESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) framework, and is fully committed to green products, environment, society, and governance (ESG), actively pursuing a path towards sustainability. E Ink's green revenue, as reported by FTSE Russell, is rated as 99.9% green; and Moody's has verified that its green loans comply with the Green Loan Principles. These international recognitions demonstrate E Ink Holdings' excellent environmental performance and commitment to sustainability.
