The 2025 World Expo will be held in Osaka, Japan in April. The theme of this year's Expo is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," focusing on future living, technological innovation, and sustainable development. Taiwan will participate with a grand exhibition under the name "TECH WORLD Pavilion," featuring three main theaters: "Life," "Nature," and "Future." The pavilion will showcase Taiwan's strengths in both technology and humanities, with the curatorial theme of "Connecting the World, Creating a Better Future," comprehensively demonstrating Taiwan's key role on the global technology stage.
Among the many exhibition areas, the "Future Theater" is a globally advanced COB LED display screen created by Taiwan's Hsin-Chi Technology Co., Ltd. This giant screen, 13.2 meters wide and 2.4 meters high, displays an ultra-high resolution of 8448*1512, becoming one of the most eye-catching highlights. The display screen also combines dynamic interactive sensing and 3D image presentation technology, bringing the audience an immersive experience that blends visual appeal with technological sophistication. For this World Expo project, Hsin-Chi Technology Co., Ltd. poured its resources into creating this national-level project using advanced mini LED COB technology. In addition to its rich color gradation, high contrast, water resistance, and anti-static properties, the display screen is also remarkably cold-screen even during continuous use, meaning it is highly energy-efficient and meets global green energy and environmental protection requirements.
This theatrical performance, themed "Who Makes IC Chips?", opens with a three-dimensional IC chip as its visual focal point, accompanied by flowing, colorful light patterns, creating a vibrant and vivid visual atmosphere. Through ultra-high-definition display technology, it delicately presents rich color layers and light and shadow variations, delivering a powerful sense of immersion and futurism to the audience. Viewers can activate an interactive sensing device simply by waving their hands, triggering a real-time visual response and unfolding the story, conveying the importance of semiconductor chips for future smart living. The entire performance is like a technological journey across time and space, making viewers feel as if they are personally experiencing a future world.
