In terms of design, the vivo Vision Explorer Edition adopts a split riveting design and uses high-strength, lightweight magnesium alloy, resulting in a headset weighing only 398g, significantly reducing the burden on users during extended wear. The external computing unit design also optimizes the overall wearing balance to some extent. Furthermore, the headset is equipped with a second-generation Snapdragon XR2+ chip, providing smooth operation and high-performance performance.
Optical display is a major highlight of the vivo Vision Explorer Edition. The product features dual 8K Micro OLED displays that cover 94% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut with a color accuracy ΔE < 2. Notably, the headset also supports magnetic optical lenses from 100 to 1000 degrees, allowing nearsighted users to easily use it without additional glasses, addressing a significant pain point for this group when using headsets.

In terms of entertainment experience, the vivo Vision Explorer Edition supports a 120-foot ultra-large screen display and has partnered with Migu Video to bring users live streaming and multi-angle immersive viewing experiences. Users feel as if they are in the stadium, able to fully experience the tension and passion of the event.
In terms of control operation, the headset supports 1.5° high-precision eye tracking and has 26 degrees of freedom for micro-gesture recognition. The vertical recognition range can reach 175 degrees, allowing users to complete various control operations without the need for a controller, simply by using eye movements and hand micro-movements, thus improving the convenience and immersion of operation.
In terms of system, the vivo Vision Explorer Edition is equipped with the OriginOS Visio system, which can connect to mobile phones and PCs and can project up to 5 floating windows, thus enabling a variety of entertainment and office activities such as immersive dome video, multi-device flash projection for watching movies, 3D e-sports viewing, and a free multi-window workbench.
vivo officially stated that the vivo Vision Explorer Edition will not be publicly sold in 2025. However, starting immediately, consumers can experience the product at 120 stores and get a sneak peek at this MR headset. (TrendForce Display)
