On April 29, 2025, Meizu announced in Hong Kong the official launch of the world's first offline payment function for AR glasses, which was first implemented on the StarV Air2 smart glasses.
This feature, developed in collaboration between Meizu and Ant Financial's Alipay+ team, combines the waveguide display, voice recognition, and QR code scanning capabilities of AR glasses to enable users to complete payments simply by wearing the glasses and confirming via voice. This marks a further expansion of the application scenarios for smart glasses.

This feature is expected to be fully implemented in the third quarter of 2025 and will become a standard feature of Meizu's StarV smart glasses products. The StarV series continues to lead the AR glasses market, and the launch of this payment function not only enhances product competitiveness but also reflects its active role in industry exploration. The StarV Air2 features the world's smallest Micro LED system and high-transmittance waveguide lenses, improving the user experience.
Furthermore, Meizu is actively integrating into the AI ecosystem, combining its self-developed Flyme AI big model with collaborations with several leading models to provide users with more intelligent services. (Source: Meizu)
