Visionox stated on its interactive platform on December 13 that its investee company, Chenxian Optoelectronics, completed the installation of equipment for the first TFT-based Micro LED mass production line in China in September this year and is currently entering the sprint stage of mass production.
It is understood that Visionox's invested company, Chenxian Optoelectronics, was established in 2020. It is a Micro LED project operating entity jointly invested by Visionox and Chengdu State-owned Assets Investment Platform, and carries out research and development and production work around key technologies such as mass transfer, driving and detection, chip design and colorization.
Currently, Chenxian Optoelectronics has built the first Micro LED pilot line in mainland China that covers the entire process from driver backplane and mass transfer to module, achieving a first-pass transfer yield of 99.995%. Through its self-developed repair technology, it has achieved a screen lighting yield of 100%, and has started work on the world's first TFT-based Micro LED mass production line.
Since 2023, Chenxian Optoelectronics has made significant progress in product implementation. Following the successful lighting of 4.78-inch, 14.5-inch, and 29-inch TFT-based products, Chenxian Optoelectronics also released the first 58-inch P0.5 TFT-based Micro LED splicing screen in China and announced the successful lighting of the world's first 102-inch P0.5 TFT-based Micro LED splicing screen.

In January of this year, Chenxian Optoelectronics announced the successful lighting up of the world's first 88-inch P0.5 front-maintenance TFT-based Micro LED video wall. It is understood that front maintenance and ultra-low reflectivity are the two major technological highlights of this display. Furthermore, at the DIC exhibition in July, Chenxian Optoelectronics also showcased its latest large-size P0.7 TFT-based Micro LED video wall.
It's worth noting that the mass production process of the Micro LED industry is accelerating. Not only is Chenxian Optoelectronics actively investing in this area, but many other companies are also speeding up their Micro LED production lines to achieve mass production.
At the TCL Global Technology Innovation Conference held on December 11, Zhao Bin, Vice President and General Manager of the R&D Center of TCL CSOT, revealed that the Micro LED pilot line of ChipInfo Display, a joint venture between TCL CSOT and Sanan Optoelectronics, has been completed and is expected to achieve small-batch trial production in 2025. AUO, meanwhile, announced in early November that its Micro LED production line has been upgraded from a Generation 1 line to a Generation 4.5 line to further expand its production scale.
