On September 13, Lipro Vision, headquartered in Taiwan, will launch a new AR glasses for outdoor athletes, featuring a single green Micro LED display engine.

The CEO of Lipro Vision is a triathlete and a former researcher at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan. He stated that the new glasses are designed specifically for the needs of outdoor athletes, featuring over 10 hours of battery life and over 4,000 nits of brightness. They utilize the company's proprietary Metalens optical engine, combining a metal lens array with a Micro LED display.

The display is placed directly in front of the eyes, rather than projected from the side, and its design concept is somewhat similar to the transparent AR display module of AR glasses company NewSight Reality.
According to available information, LiproVision focuses on the research and development of optical engines and smart sports glasses. LiproVision's core product is an optical engine that combines Micro LED display with Metalens technology. Metalens uses nanostructures to replace the traditional complex lens combination, significantly reducing size and weight while maintaining high-quality imaging; combined with the high-brightness, low-power Micro LED display, it can still be clearly displayed in strong sunlight and extend battery life.
