On September 23, Unilumin Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with Dimension Studio, Cambridge Picture Company and Beijing Shanmu Film & Television Culture Media Co., Ltd.
The collaboration aims to integrate resources from all four parties to develop standardized solutions for theatrical film-grade LED virtual shooting, industry alliances, and training courses for the national film market.
The solution includes optimized LED studio design templates, localized pricing and service models, and full-cycle services, lowering the barrier to entry for high-quality virtual shooting technology.
The four parties will also jointly produce, operate, and sell cinematic-quality digital assets, and build a private cloud management platform to achieve localized deployment and operation. Furthermore, the collaboration includes establishing a pilot LED virtual shooting center in China, developing systematic training courses, and cultivating talent with cutting-edge virtual shooting technologies.
The collaboration will also extend to the field of immersive cultural and tourism experiences, designing and operating cultural and tourism entertainment projects based on LED technology, and initiating or participating in industry alliances and conferences to build a virtual shooting ecosystem.
It is understood that Unilumin Technology and its subsidiary brand Radiant have been making continuous efforts in the field of xR virtual production, and have successively built a large number of xR virtual studios around the world.
Currently, Unilumin Technology has built more than 100 film and television-grade digital studios worldwide, forming a complete virtual film and television full-chain solution with "xR virtual shooting system + digital special effects assets + DCI certified LED cinema screen" as the core.
On May 30th of this year, Unilumin Technology announced that the first xR virtual shooting platform in China, deployed in a world-class convention and exhibition complex, was officially put into operation at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center's multimedia studio.
