
Hongkai Optoelectronics officially launched the LIN-Lite module, which uses its self-developed LIN-Lite smart LED. It integrates high-brightness LED and LIN Driver IC into a single package, which not only simplifies wiring design, but also has high efficiency, high brightness and excellent heat dissipation performance. It effectively breaks through the technical bottleneck of brightness and heat dissipation in traditional automotive ambient lighting modules, opening up a new era in the design of in-vehicle ambient lighting.
LIN-Lite key technologies:
- Ultra-high brightness output: Compared to traditional single-lamp solutions, LIN-Lite can output up to 6 times the light power! Through high-efficiency LEDs and optimized chip layout, it achieves stronger brightness and uniform light mixing effect, completely breaking through the limitations of traditional automotive ambient lighting.
- Precise color control: Completes RGB data writing and Driver IC verification to ensure that the light source meets the D65 white light standard and maintains high color consistency (≦3 SDCM); built-in 256 preset colors simplify control.
- Miniaturized integrated package: The high-brightness LED and LIN Driver IC are integrated into an ultra-small package of 6.5×4.5×0.85 mm, simplifying wiring.
- Superior heat dissipation design: At the same brightness, LIN-Lite generates only 50% of the heat of other LEDs.
- Smart communication support: Compatible with LIN 2.0 and above protocols, with addressable functionality, making it easy to identify and control individual LED modules.
- It can switch between Master and Slave functions: the total number of LEDs that can be controlled can be increased under a single LIN bus.

Before each LED leaves the factory, LIN-Lite completes RGB data writing and driver IC verification to ensure the light source meets the D65 white light standard and maintains high color consistency. Compared to other LED products on the market, which require 5-10 seconds for color calibration per LED, LIN-Lite's pre-calibration and color adjustment mechanism significantly shortens the process and reduces the cost of RGB LED color calibration.
