Fu-Cai has achieved outstanding results in the field of sustainable development. Recently, it won three honors: the "National Sustainable Development Award", the "Net Zero Label Bronze Certification" and the "TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award Platinum Award in the Sustainability Reporting Category". It also passed the carbon reduction target review of the Science-Based Reduction Targets Initiative (SBTi), confirming that its carbon reduction path complies with the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C warming control standard, demonstrating the company's long-term investment and commitment in the three major aspects of environment, society and governance (ESG).
Adhering to the philosophy of "technological innovation and sustainable development," Fu-Cai continuously deepens its core strategies of energy conservation and carbon reduction, circular economy, and green design. The company has completed a clear carbon reduction roadmap, achieving a cumulative carbon reduction of 16.45% from the base year in 2024. It has also joined the Renewable Energy Initiative (RE100), committing to a 60% renewable energy usage rate by 2030 and 100% by 2050. Furthermore, starting in 2025, its mainland China plants will fully utilize green electricity. Fu-Cai is also actively reducing the use of fluorinated gases and implementing reduction equipment, which is expected to reduce related emissions by at least 90%, responding to the global net-zero trend with concrete actions. The approval of SBTi further signifies that Fu-Cai's carbon reduction path has international scientific validation and is fully aligned with global supply chain requirements.
Furthermore, Fu-Tai deepens its social participation through diverse training programs, public welfare initiatives, and industry-academia collaborations, continuously giving back to society with the core philosophy of technology for all. Public welfare projects, including "Fu-Tai Dream Ship," "Fu-Tai Plays with Science," and "LED Science Popularization and Sustainable Education," have accompanied countless children in exploring science and engaging with technology over the past 12 years. In terms of governance, Fu-Tai has established a comprehensive sustainable governance mechanism, regularly reviewing the effectiveness of strategy implementation to ensure that sustainable goals are aligned with operational decisions. Through transparent governance, risk control, and policy implementation, Fu-Tai continuously enhances its sustainable governance resilience, laying a solid foundation for the company to face future challenges.
In the future, Fu-Cai will continue to deepen its sustainability strategy, with the core goal of achieving net zero by 2050. It will simultaneously promote the circular economy, zero waste of resources, and low-carbon manufacturing, and expand its social influence with the spirit of "technology for good". Together with the government, industry and academia, and supply chain partners, it will jointly build a resilient and low-carbon industrial ecosystem, continuously improve the quality of human life with optoelectronic technology, and lead the manufacturing industry into a smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive new era.
