CES 2025: Multiple manufacturers preview near-eye display products

Recently, several upstream and downstream companies in the near-eye display industry have released their CES 2025 exhibition announcements, showcasing their latest technological solutions and end products.


Sitronix Technology will focus on showcasing Micro LED microdisplay products for AR, automotive, and projection applications at CES 2025. Sitronix Technology, a Micro LED microdisplay technology manufacturer, recently announced that it will focus on showcasing AR, automotive, and projection technologies at CES 2025.

The exhibits include 0.13, 0.2, and 0.45-inch Micro LED micro-display modules, as well as a 0.2-inch Micro LED white light display module.

It is worth noting that in June last year, Sitronix's Micro LED production line project, with an annual capacity of 6 million display chips, officially started mass production in Xiamen. This is reportedly the first Micro LED monolithic bonding mass production line in China. Since its launch, Sitronix's order volume has been consistently high, and it has already delivered products to wearable device customers.

In addition, Sitronix is ​​accelerating the commercialization and verification of new technologies such as deep ultraviolet Micro LED maskless lithography, integrating Micro LED technology into more application scenarios such as lithography machines.

Several companies have announced plans to showcase new AR/VR glasses
at CES 2025. In addition to upstream companies bringing near-eye display technology solutions to CES 2025, several end-user companies have also announced that they will exhibit AR/VR glasses at the CES 2025 exhibition.

For example, Thunderbird Innovation announced that it will jointly exhibit with TCL at CES, launching and showcasing the AI ​​shooting glasses V3 and AI+AR waveguide glasses X3 Pro. According to reports, both new products are equipped with large-scale AI models deeply customized with leading domestic AI companies. The Thunderbird V3 AI shooting glasses, jointly developed by Thunderbird and Dr. Glasses, are expected to be officially released in the first quarter of this year.

Sony plans to hold a press conference on the eve of CES, scheduled for 5 PM (PST) on January 6th. An earlier teaser video showed a pair of MR glasses and a spatial smart pen, which may be showcased at CES 2025.

INAIR has released a teaser, announcing that it will showcase a new generation of AI spatial computers. Media outlets predict that this will be a bundle of AR glasses and a computing host, primarily targeting office scenarios.

Pimax is expected to showcase VR headsets such as the Pimax Crystal Super and Crystal Light. Additionally, Pimax recently announced the Dream Air headset, which weighs less than 200g and features an 8K Micro OLED display; this device may also be unveiled at the exhibition.
