On March 27, Fuco announced several technological breakthroughs in the Micro LED field: the luminous efficacy of blue-green light chips has been improved by 10-15%, the luminous efficacy of red light chips has been significantly optimized by 90%, the yield of mass transfer has been significantly improved, and the technology has met the stringent standards of end customers.
At the same time, the company continues to advance technological iteration, successfully reducing chip size by 40%, which reduces production costs while further improving resolution, luminous efficiency and market adoption speed.
In addition, based on its i-Pixel series products, Fuco has launched a full-scenario solution with higher brightness, lower power consumption and support for 3D packaging through a highly integrated chip-level packaging technology platform to meet diverse application needs.
Fu-Cai stated that with the increasing maturity of the technology, Micro LED is rapidly penetrating the automotive and AI optical communication markets. The company provides solutions for automotive displays, transparent HUDs (head-up displays), and adaptive high beams (ADB), and has already partnered with multiple OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to promote the implementation of smart car scenarios.

It is reported that Fuchai has deployed a number of innovative technologies in the field of automotive lighting. Its Micro LED and Mini LED high-zone ADB headlights can precisely control hundreds to thousands of independent light points, thereby improving driving safety and supporting image display. The Micro LED transparent display window has a transmittance of 70% and a high brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring that information is clearly visible under strong light; the full-color Mini LED sunroof provides a high transmittance of 80%, enhancing the immersive cabin atmosphere.
Recently, Fuchai also announced the merger of Epistar and Lextar Electronics, focusing on "3+1" high-value-added areas: automotive, advanced display, intelligent sensing, and AI optical communication. This move will improve R&D efficiency, strengthen upstream epitaxial and chip technologies, and downstream packaging and module integration, thereby providing more competitive innovative solutions and accelerating the expansion of its automotive market presence.
In the field of AI optical communication, Fuco leverages its expertise in III-V semiconductor materials to develop three types of AI optical communication light sources suitable for different scenarios. Micro LED, with its micron-level light source size, matrix arrangement for multi-channel high-speed transmission, and high temperature resistance and low power consumption, has become the next-generation AI high-speed optical communication transmission solution with the best cost performance within a 10-meter distance.
Regarding capacity expansion, Fuchai plans to increase its Micro LED production capacity this year and collaborate with Neptunus to expand output. The company's legal representatives are optimistic that Fuchai has a chance to achieve its full-year profit target. (Compiled)
