In the operating report, Chairman Peng Shuang-Lang pointed out that Fu-Tsai will focus on the "3+1 long-term development strategy" in the future. In 2024, it will also strengthen its financial stability and corporate resilience through a three-pronged approach of efficiency, cost reduction and streamlining. According to statistics, Fu-Tsai will dispose of 7 and liquidate 3 investment companies that do not meet the investment benefits in 2024, thus significantly reducing its operating burden.
In addition to the three major areas of automotive, advanced display, and intelligent sensing, Fu-Cai's operating report emphasizes its investment in new fields. Leveraging its strong grasp of III-V compound semiconductor optoelectronic materials, Fu-Cai is actively targeting high-value-added areas, including AI optical communication and CPO light sources (high-speed VCSEL/DFB LD/Micro LED), high-conversion-efficiency III-V solar cells, and professional lighting applications. In the future, the group will gather more growth momentum and strengthen its profitability and risk resistance capabilities.

In the field of AI optical communication, Peng Shuanglang stated that with the improvement of computing power in the AI server era and the arrival of the silicon photonics era, FuCai is actively moving towards the research and development of light source receiving, transmitting components, and modules. For optical communication light source components, the development of high-speed VCSELs with a transmission rate of 25Gbps has been completed, and 50Gbps to 100Gbps PAM4 VCSEL products are expected to be launched successively by 2025. FuCai is also actively cooperating in the development of distributed feedback laser (DFB LD) technology and products required for optical communication and CPO, and is collaborating with key partners to strengthen its terminal application technology and market advantages.
In the area of high-efficiency III-V solar cells, the Group has developed high-efficiency III-V solar cells, which have a power generation efficiency improvement of up to 50% compared to silicon-based solar cells, and have passed rigorous environmental testing, making them suitable for high-end applications.
In the field of professional lighting and human-centric lighting, Fu-Cai focuses on using lighting technology to improve human health, comfort, and productivity.
