On June 20, Chenxian Optoelectronics and Qingdao Haier Multimedia signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of LED commercial display and jointly promote the widespread application of TFT-based Micro-LED large screens in the commercial display market.

According to the agreement, Chenxian Optoelectronics will focus on TFT-based Micro-LED technology and engage in in-depth cooperation with Haier Commercial Display, with a focus on high-end commercial displays, while also encompassing diversified solutions including traditional LED products. Over the next three years, the two parties will jointly launch multiple customized LED display products, enhancing Haier Commercial Display's competitiveness and product diversity in the commercial display field.
It is understood that Qingdao Haier Multimedia is a subsidiary of Haier Group that focuses on digital media and smart home appliances. In recent years, it has been continuously expanding a new business model that integrates "smart display + scenario".
Chenxian Optoelectronics focuses on Micro-LED display technology and has developed several world-first Micro-LED products, such as a 135-inch P0.7 TFT-based Micro-LED splicing screen, an 88-inch P0.5 TFT-based Micro-LED splicing screen, a P0.5 TFT-based Micro-LED transparent screen, and a TFT-based Micro-LED textured screen. In December 2024, Chenxian Optoelectronics successfully lit up the first TFT-based Micro-LED mass production line in mainland China.
In this collaboration, both parties will establish a regular strategic communication mechanism, based on the principles of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation," to promote the rapid market launch of TFT-based Micro-LED products, and to conduct in-depth cooperation in areas such as end-product planning, collaborative brand promotion, and industry channel expansion.
It's worth noting that complete television sets are also a key business for Qingdao Haier Multimedia. In the future, Chenxian Optoelectronics and Qingdao Haier Multimedia will actively explore joint development and market expansion in Micro-LED television sets, focusing on home theaters, professional displays, and ultra-high-definition audio-visual scenarios to create a future-oriented television display experience.
