The EP-CA22 is equipped with the latest e-paper platform, Spectra 62, developed by E Ink Holdings. By integrating Sharp's proprietary color reproduction and image processing technologies, the ePoster achieves vibrant color display and smooth gradient transitions, while text remains clearly rendered. Therefore, the ePoster is suitable for various applications, including advertising and information display in commercial and public spaces, and restaurant menus.

The EP-CA22 boasts a resolution of 2160 × 3060 pixels and a pixel pitch of 0.194 mm, enabling it to clearly display images and text.

In terms of input interfaces, the device is equipped with two USB Type-C ports, one for data transfer and power supply, and the other for power supply only. It has 16GB of built-in storage, of which 14GB is usable, allowing users to store large amounts of static content.

In terms of network connectivity, the EP-CA22 supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standard wireless local area network (Wi-Fi), and is also compatible with Bluetooth 5.2. It supports both GAP and SPP communication protocols and has good wireless data transmission capabilities.

In terms of power supply design, the EP-CA22 uses a dedicated AC adapter, supporting AC100V, 50/60Hz power input and converting it to 9V DC output. This device can maintain display without continuous power supply after image setup, achieving a "zero-power" display state with significant energy savings. Its operating temperature and image rewrite temperature range are both 0 to 50°C, suitable for various environments; its humidity tolerance range is 20% to 80%, ensuring stable operation under common climatic conditions.

Sharp plans to officially launch the product in the Japanese market in late June 2025, with an estimated monthly production of 500 units. The price has not yet been announced. (Compiled by TrendForce Display)
