According to public information, Thunderbird Innovation was founded in 2021 and incubated within TCL Electronics. The company has extensive experience in near-eye display optical design, self-developed AI algorithm models, and multimodal human-computer interaction. Currently, Thunderbird Innovation has become one of the major players in the AR glasses market. Relevant industry data shows that in the first quarter of this year, Thunderbird Innovation's market share in AR glasses reached 50%.
In terms of products, Thunderbird Innovation has formed three major product lines for the consumer AR glasses market: X, Air, and V series. These products adopt Micro LED and Micro OLED micro-display technologies and cover three major scenarios: daily use, immersive audio-visual experience, and AI shooting.
In May of this year, Thunderbird Innovation released its latest flagship AR glasses, the Thunderbird X3 Pro, which is equipped with binocular full-color Micro LED waveguide display technology. The product has significant improvements in AI experience, scene application, human-computer interaction, spatial perception, and lightweight design.
In addition, Thunderbird Innovation also released the Thunderbird Air 3s series, which adopts the same dual-layer OLED technology as Apple's iPad Pro, with 1200 nits of eye brightness, 20 levels of brightness adjustment, and can achieve the display effect of a 135-inch screen at an equivalent distance of 4 meters.
In terms of production capacity, Thunderbird Innovation's Thunderbird Optics Intelligent Manufacturing Plant, located in Nanhu, Jiaxing, has officially commenced production. This plant will undertake R&D tasks related to optical simulation, optomechanical module design, and automated equipment, with an expected annual production capacity of 1.05 million optomechanical modules.
In addition, Thunderbird Innovation signed an agreement last year to establish its XR camera R&D and manufacturing headquarters in Wuxi, with the first phase of the project expected to be completed and put into production this year. After the first phase reaches full production capacity, the estimated annual production capacity of XR cameras is approximately 350,000 units. Full production is expected within five years, achieving an annual production capacity of 1 million XR cameras, with an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan. (Compiled)
