Samsung announced an expansion of its partnership with Toyota Motor, a leading global automaker, to bring Samsung's SMART Signage solutions to Toyota dealerships in key markets. This collaboration continues a large-scale digital transformation in Europe, completed in early 2025, covering 1,250 dealerships in 40 markets.

As car buyers switch between online research and in-person viewings, this collaboration transforms traditional dealerships into digitally enhanced, interactive environments, creating a seamless and consistent customer experience.

Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Imaging Display Business, stated, "The trend of digitalization in global automotive dealerships is accelerating, and digital signage plays a crucial role in this transformation. Through our collaboration with Toyota Motor, Samsung is committed to providing innovative solutions to enhance the car buying experience for customers worldwide. We are also focused on developing differentiated technologies that meet the diverse needs of different markets."

Creating a superior Toyota dealership experience
Samsung has deployed approximately 23,000 large commercial displays (SMART Signage) at Toyota dealerships in Europe, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), making it one of Samsung's largest and most iconic commercial signage projects to date.

Toyota's digital dealerships have installed a range of Samsung touchscreens and indoor LED displays in key areas such as reception areas, information desks, vehicle showrooms, and customer lounges. These include the QMC series (a range of 4K UHD displays from 43 inches to 98 inches), featuring anti-reflective panels and a narrow bezel design, supporting seamless vertical or horizontal orientation, and achieving EPEAT Silver environmental performance certification.

At Toyota's digital dealerships, customers can directly browse vehicle models, view product specifications, and explore available offers via Samsung's large-format SMART Signage displays. The touch interface supports real-time customization, helping buyers create their ideal vehicle configuration on the screen. These digital tools provide a more interactive and efficient car buying experience, allowing employees to shift their focus from routine product explanations to more personalized customer interactions.

Enterprise-grade security for remote management
All displays at digital dealership locations utilize Samsung's comprehensive remote device management solution, MagicINFO™. This solution enables Toyota teams to monitor screen performance from a centralized dashboard and resolve issues across the entire display network. This system architecture facilitates hardware control, significantly reduces downtime, and ensures stable and consistent display operation without relying on on-site support.

MagicINFO has built-in enterprise-grade security protection mechanisms and has obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certifications from the British Standards Institution (BSI) (Note 2), demonstrating Samsung's emphasis on and commitment to the security and privacy protection of digital signage management.

Dirk Christiaens, Business Transformation and Brand Experience Manager at Toyota Motor Europe, stated, "Integrating Samsung Digital Kanban into Toyota dealerships brings tangible value to every stage of the customer journey. The car buying process encompasses multiple stages, and we must deliver the right information at the right time to provide a superior customer experience. Through MagicINFO's real-time remote management capabilities, customer interaction at digital dealerships has been significantly enhanced."
