According to reports, the Livis frames weigh only 36 grams, can work continuously for 18.8 hours under simulated daily use, and have a standby time of up to 78 hours. All models come standard with a charging case that can provide four full charges for the glasses.
The Livis features a 12-megapixel camera with a 105° ultra-wide-angle lens, EIS electronic image stabilization, and automatic horizon correction. When wearing sunglasses while driving, users can clearly view HUD information and smoothly use Face ID. Furthermore, voice commands via the "Ideal Assistant" allow for operation of functions such as air conditioning, steering wheel heating, and tailgate control without needing to operate a mobile phone.
In terms of lens design, Li Auto has reached a strategic cooperation with Zeiss, and the Livis series comes standard with high-quality Zeiss lenses, and offers multiple versions such as refractive, photochromic and sunglasses.
Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, said that the team officially launched the AI glasses project in 2024, with the goal of extending the AI capabilities of "Li Auto" from the car to daily life, making Livis not only a wearable device, but also "Li Auto's best artificial intelligence accessory".
Regarding the name, Li Xiang revealed that "Livis" was inspired by "Jarvis," the AI butler in "Iron Man," which is both a tribute to the classic science fiction character and a reflection of Ideal's pursuit of the integration of technology and imagination.
In terms of market competition, the Ideal AI Glasses and Xiaomi's first AI glasses have the same starting price. The latter weighs 40 grams, supports first-person perspective shooting, and can be used as open-back headphones. Meanwhile, the recently released Quark AI Glasses S1 and G1 series are priced between 1899 yuan and 3799 yuan, both equipped with Alibaba's Qianwen AI assistant, balancing style and portability.
