On November 11, 2025, the "Lehman HD King Cool Screen Master Grand Product Launch Conference" was held in Shenzhen. More than 500 industry elites, media, and partners gathered at the event, which was also broadcast live online. At the conference, Li Mantie, founder, chairman, and president of Lehman Optoelectronics, delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Future of LED Displays," clarifying the core direction of industry development and anchoring the path for the upgrading of the LED display industry. In his speech, Li Mantie pointed out that the evolution of LED displays has always revolved around upgrading user experience and achieving technological breakthroughs, which is precisely the core direction for the implementation of Micro LED. He proposed "eight perception dimensions" to reconstruct the user experience, covering needs across all scenarios:

Ultra HD: Breaking through the resolution boundaries, Leyard has achieved mass production of P0.47mm products, laying the foundation for the implementation of 8K displays and matching the technological potential of Micro LED with tens of millions of pixels;

Ultra-immersive: Creates an all-encompassing visual effect, empowering cultural tourism, cinema and other scenarios, and matching the application characteristics of Micro LED in XR virtual shooting;

Super energy saving: In response to the green development and ESG trends, Cool Screen Master achieves half the energy consumption through technological innovation, meeting the needs of low-carbon applications;

Ultra-cool screen: solves the problem of device overheating, extends lifespan and improves comfort, and solves the heat dissipation problem of high-density displays;

Ultra-stable: The overriding goal is for Micro LED display products to operate stably for a long time in working scenarios. The Cool Screen Master's screen temperature is significantly lower than that of conventional COB products, resulting in a doubling of working stability and lifespan.

Ultra-comfortable: Optimized from multiple dimensions such as low blue light, low reflection, and high refresh rate to reduce visual fatigue and further enhance the visual friendliness of LED self-emissive technology;

Clear technical path: Connecting to the core implementation solution of Micro LED

In response to the industry consensus that "COB, MiP, and COG are the core implementation technologies of Micro LED," Li Mantie proposed "five major technological evolution directions," constructing a step-by-step path to the ultimate display:

From DIP to SMD: Expanding the application market from outdoor to indoor displays, and cultivating the market for the subsequent promotion of indoor small-pitch displays;

From SMD to COB: Breaking through the bottlenecks of traditional packaging, COB has become the mainstream solution for the mass production of Micro LEDs due to its high integration and high reliability. Lehman pioneered the COB large screen 8 years ago and now holds more than 100 COB-related patents, making it the mainstream solution for the mass production of Micro LEDs.

From COB to MiP: Using the "package first, assemble later" model, Lehman is compatible with the existing industrial chain and improves production efficiency, lowering the threshold for the industrialization of Micro LED. Lehman has achieved full-pitch product coverage through this technology.

From COB to COG: Deepening the integration of chips and glass substrates, leveraging the high flatness of glass substrates to improve mass transfer efficiency, and making it possible for ultra-fine pitch displays;

From COB to PSE: With Lehman's proprietary pixel engine technology at its core, through hardware layout optimization and algorithm innovation, the resolution is increased fourfold without increasing costs, providing key support for cost-effective mass production of Micro LED.

Jiao Yang, deputy secretary-general of the World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance, acknowledged the industry reference value of the framework, while Sun Xiaowei, chair professor at Southern University of Science and Technology, said it has injected strong momentum into the industrialization of Micro LED.
