According to Bangteng Technology, in December, StudioCube, South Korea's largest public broadcast content production base, officially launched its new virtual production stage—Studio V. The project, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), aims to upgrade the infrastructure of South Korean film and television production.

Previously, the StudioCube campus served as a filming location for movies and TV shows such as "The Squid Game," "Kingdom," and "Sweet Home." The newly built Studio V studio officially opened on December 3.
Studio V uses LG's high-resolution LED display products optimized for virtual shooting environments, with a total system pixel count of 94.7 million and a pixel pitch ranging from 2.6mm to 3.9mm.
The entire display system consists of three parts: the main background screen is a giant structure 60 meters wide and 8 meters high, integrating a 36.5-meter curved section and a 23.5-meter flat section to cover an ultra-wide field of view; a large 15-meter × 21-meter canopy LED screen is deployed on the top to provide immersive ambient lighting; in addition, two 5-meter × 5-meter movable screens are also provided for flexible supplementary lighting or foreground enhancement.

In terms of supporting technical architecture, to drive this large-scale display system, 19 Banteng Tessera SX40 4K LED video processors and 38 XD data distribution units were configured on-site, supporting shutter synchronization, HDR color depth expansion, and dark detail processing. Simultaneously, the system deeply integrates OptiTrack and Stage Precision camera tracking technologies to ensure real-time and accurate synchronization between the virtual background and the actual camera movement.
