It is reported that the QD-COB series uses SAFLE's self-developed R-series red LED chips and NPQD® quantum dot color conversion technology, which features ultra-wide viewing angle, high color accuracy from all angles, and color and brightness that are not affected by changes in current and temperature. Since entering the market in 2024, the QD-COB series has been applied in thousands of square meters.

The QD-COB Pro brought by SFLS this time is an upgraded version of the QD-COB (Quantum Dot COB) series, and is touted as the first Micro-LED direct-view large screen to achieve high color accuracy and no color difference from all angles. The product is designed for scenarios with high demands for display performance and color accuracy, such as professional design review, CAVE immersive experience, virtual shooting, art multimedia creation/education, and high-end retail.
According to CEFR, in terms of chip technology, the QD-COB Pro uses a third-generation R-series quantum dot chip with a wavelength fluctuation of less than ±0.2nm, and a full-screen color difference value ΔE<=2, ensuring stable color and brightness performance across the entire screen. By combining blue and green chips with highly matched light patterns, the QD-COB Pro achieves near-perfect Lambertian consistency in the three color patterns, ensuring color coordinate deviations Cx,Cy <±0.003 when viewed from any angle.
In addition, Seflux utilizes quantum dot technology to precisely control the wavelength of light, further optimizing the performance of the red light dot and enabling the QD-COB Pro product to achieve 93% full-screen DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
In terms of overall display performance, the white light brightness of the QD-COB Pro screen has been increased to 1000 nits. In addition, the QD-COB Pro supports a 120Hz screen refresh rate, a 3840Hz high refresh rate and 30-scan drive, providing smooth picture and uniform brightness while achieving low power consumption and long life.
In terms of installation, the QD-COB Pro continues the high integration of the QD-COB series and further optimizes the structural design, reducing the cabinet thickness by about 10% compared to the previous generation to only 36 mm, which greatly improves the convenience of system integration.
According to available information, SFLS is a supplier of in-situ quantum dot Micro-LED display solutions. The company possesses original technologies such as semi-polar gallium nitride and nanopore quantum dots (NPQD). Previously, SFLS mass-produced the world's first quantum dot Micro-LED chip and announced the T1 and T2 series Micro-LED micro-display modules for micro-display devices such as AR glasses. In 2023, SFLS's first silicon-based Micro-LED micro-display production line officially went into operation, significantly reducing the production cost of Micro-LED micro-displays. (Compiled)
