On April 8th, Samsung announced that it will launch a 115-inch RGB Micro LED TV this year. This TV belongs to the Neo QLED TV product line and is positioned as an ultra-high-end version. For comparison, Samsung's current NeoQLED TV product line typically uses Mini LED backlighting technology.

This RGB Micro LED TV uses red, green, and blue LEDs as its backlight, maintaining high color purity even after passing through color filters. This results in better color purity compared to existing Samsung Mini LED backlit TVs. Furthermore, as the name "Micro LED" suggests, the TV uses smaller LED chips, allowing for more local dimming areas and thus higher contrast.

Samsung also claims that this RGB Micro LED TV supports full color gamut local dimming and consumes 20% less power than previous models. In addition to the 115-inch version, Samsung will also launch 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch versions.

Regarding the product launch timeline, South Korean media outlet TheElec revealed that Samsung plans to officially launch the TV series in June, but the specific date is still unknown. (Source: IT Home)
