On May 7, according to the official WeChat account of Chenxian Optoelectronics, Suzhou's first 4K high-definition high-brightness LED screen cinema with independent intellectual property rights was officially launched at Kunshan Golden Eagle Lumiere Cinema.

This cinema, jointly built by Chenxian Optoelectronics and Lumiere Cinemas, marks the first application of Chenxian Optoelectronics' 4K ultra-high-definition high-brightness LED screen in a high-end cinema setting. Kunshan Golden Eagle Lumiere Cinema also becomes its first cinema nationwide to adopt a 4K high-definition high-brightness LED screen.
It is reported that the 4K LED cinema screen created by Chenxian Optoelectronics features ultra-high contrast, pixel saturation of over 75%, high uniformity, 16-bit high grayscale, and high dynamic range, fully covering the DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The screen can clearly display image details and accurately reproduce colors at peak brightness, further increasing the space utilization of the cinema.
According to public information, Chenxian Optoelectronics is an LED display technology company primarily focused on the development of Micro LED technology. It has mastered several core technologies, including driving architecture, hybrid binning technology, mass transfer, infinite splicing technology, and dedicated TFT backplanes for Micro LED. In December 2024, Chenxian Optoelectronics successfully lit up the first TFT-based Micro LED mass production line in mainland China.
