On August 1st, ChinaJoy, the annual global gaming and entertainment extravaganza, opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
According to TrendForce Display's on-site visit, the exhibition featured a rich array of content, covering numerous cutting-edge technologies and innovative products. TCL CSOT participated in the exhibition alongside partners such as Samsung, Lenovo, ASUS, TCL Thunderbird, iQOO, AOC, Philips, MSI, LG, and Acer. In addition, brands such as HKC, Hisense, Tianma, and Sony also showcased their latest products.
TCL
TCL showcased its QD-Mini LED TV – the 98-inch Q10L Pro, which pioneers fourth-generation LCD technology to create an ultimate visual experience and achieve a "black border-free" viewing experience.

TCL CSOT
TCL CSOT showcased a range of printed OLED products, including flat panel displays, notebook displays, and MNT displays.
Among them, the world's first 14-inch printed OLED flat panel has a display resolution of 1920×1200, and adopts Stripe RGB pixel arrangement and algorithm optimization to reduce jagged edges and color fringing in the image.

As for the laptop, the 16-inch 2.5K printed OLED display has a resolution of 2560×1600, supports a variable refresh rate of 48-240Hz, a color gamut of DCI-P3 100%, and a brightness of 400 nits.

In terms of display, the 27-inch 4K printed OLED display has a resolution of 3840×2160, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a brightness of 600 nits, and adopts a three-sided bezel-less design.

TCL Industries <br /> At the TCL Industries booth, Thunderbird Innovation showcased several QD-Mini LED gaming monitors and the Thunderbird X3 Pro AR glasses.
The 57U9 gaming monitor features 2304-zone Mini LED backlighting, a 32:9 ultrawide screen design, and a 1000R curvature.

The 27U9 gaming monitor also features 2304-zone Mini LED backlighting and a 16:9 aspect ratio 4K resolution screen.

The Thunderbird X3 Pro features a dual-lens full-color Micro LED waveguide display with a peak brightness of 5000 nits, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 flagship chip, and supports the control of large models through independent gesture recognition.
Samsung showcased several "Odyssey" series gaming monitors, among which the Odyssey G90XF glasses-free 3D gaming monitor attracted considerable attention.
This product allows users to experience stereoscopic games and images without wearing 3D glasses. In addition, it comes with a dedicated Odyssey 3D Hub launcher for easy one-click startup; it also features an AI 3D video switching function to break through the limitations of video sources and enjoy a realistic 3D effect; the ambient projection light works in conjunction with the built-in speakers to further enhance the immersive gaming experience.

Samsung also reportedly brought the "Odyssey" Mini LED display, which features more than 2,000 dimming zones.

Lenovo Legion
The Legion showcased gaming laptops, gaming tablets, and gaming monitors.

In terms of resolution, the Legion Y700 gaming tablet is equipped with a TCL CSOT LCD flat screen with a 3.2K resolution, providing delicate and clear image quality. In addition, the Legion 27Q-10 dual-mode e-sports monitor supports 4K resolution.
In terms of refresh rate, the Legion Y9000P gaming laptop is equipped with a 240Hz high refresh rate, and many gaming monitors on display also have high refresh rates, such as the Legion LEGION 27Q-11 gaming monitor, which supports a 300Hz refresh rate.

ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers)
ROG showcased a variety of curved gaming monitors and high refresh rate ultrawide monitors.
Among them, the ROG Stealth XG32WCMS 31.5" curved gaming monitor features a native 280Hz high refresh rate, adopts Fast VA technology, and supports 1ms GTG response time, making it designed for gamers who pursue a smooth, high frame rate gaming experience.

In addition, ASUS also showcased the VG34WQML5A 34” high refresh rate ultrawide monitor and the XG259CMS 24.5” 310Hz ultra-high refresh rate gaming monitor.

AOC (冠捷)
AOC showcased the Counter-Strike 2 co-branded monitor CS25G, featuring a 24.5-inch FHD screen and supporting a 310Hz refresh rate.

In addition, AOC showcased two monitors: a 27-inch QHD 240Hz (Q27G4ZMN) and a 32-inch UHD 240Hz (U32G4ZMN), which can meet the needs of gamers with different requirements for image quality and smoothness.

Acer
Acer showcased its 31.5-inch QHD curved gaming monitor, model XZ323QU Z1, with a refresh rate of 280Hz.

LG
At this exhibition, LG showcased its new 4K dual-mode Ares series, which supports both 4K 180Hz and FHD 360Hz modes, catering to the gaming needs of high resolution and high refresh rate.

PHILIPS
PHILIPS presents a range of gaming monitors, including those featuring Mini LED technology and a 300Hz/5000:1 contrast ratio.
Among them, the Mini LED gaming monitors are available in various models, including 27-inch and 32-inch models, all featuring 4K UHD high resolution, 1152-zone Mini LED precision light control, and support for HDR1000.

MSI (Micro-Star International)
MSI showcased a range of new gaming hardware products, including handheld consoles, curved gaming monitors, and gaming laptops. Among them, the CLAW 8 handheld console features an ergonomic design and an 8-inch high refresh rate screen.

iQOO
iQOO brings the flagship 144Hz optical field eye protection screen to the Z10 Turbo Pro. It is understood that the screen is equipped with Huaxing C9+ luminescent material and supports a peak brightness of 4400 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate.

HKC <br /> Inspired by the surreal spaceship "Nebula," HKC showcased its three major monitor brands—HKC, Ant eSports, and Coreix—along with their full product line, creating seven core experience zones.

Specific exhibits included 27/31.5/49-inch QD-OLED gaming monitors, model numbers GS32UK, GS27QK, and GS49UK respectively, all with a 240Hz refresh rate. HKC also showcased monitors such as the MG25K5, T2755U, and GS27QH at the event.


It's worth mentioning that HKC set up an e-sports experience zone on-site, equipped with curved e-sports monitors.

Hisense showcased its 100-inch E8QPro Mini LED TV, which features a U+Mini LED halo control system, uses the Hisense AI picture quality chip H7, supports Obsidian Ultra, and boasts a 330Hz system-level high refresh rate.

Tianma <br /> Tianma focused on showcasing its high refresh rate gaming displays and eye-protection technology products.

The ultra-high refresh rate 480Hz gaming laptop screen uses Oxide technology and a 3ms GTG instant response, which can effectively eliminate screen stuttering and reduce screen ghosting.

At the Tianma exhibition area, Lenovo showcased the Legion R9000P laptop, featuring a 2.5K 240Hz high color gamut large screen.

In terms of eye protection technology, Tianma showcased its 16-inch WQ 240Hz AG AR eye protection display technology, which features a high refresh rate of 240Hz and adopts AG AR anti-glare and anti-reflection eye protection technology to avoid eye fatigue during long-term gaming.
Sony <br /> Sony showcased its INZONE product line, a sub-brand of imaging and gaming products.

In terms of display products, Sony showcased a 480Hz flagship OLED gaming monitor, a 240Hz OLED gaming monitor, and the Sony TV Series 8.
Among them, the INZONE M10S is a 480Hz flagship OLED gaming monitor, jointly developed by Sony and Fnatic professional players. The product supports FPS image presets and has a 0.03ms response time, designed specifically for competitive gamers.

At the exhibition, Sony also created a 360 gaming space audio experience zone, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the realistic reproduction and spatial performance of stereo sound technology in games.

Summary <br /> According to TrendForce Display's observations, companies at this exhibition generally highlighted high refresh rates and high resolutions as core features of their products. For example, Tianma and Sony showcased 480Hz products, ASUS and AOC exhibited 310Hz displays, and Hisense's E8Q Pro also achieved a 330Hz refresh rate. In terms of resolution, many products reached 4K resolution. In addition, some manufacturers showcased dual-mode products, such as Lenovo and LG.
In terms of display technology, many brands such as TCL, Hisense, Samsung, Philips, and AOC showcased Mini LED products. TCL CSOT also highlighted its printed OLED technology display, while HKC exhibited a QD-OLED display. In addition, naked-eye 3D technology became the focus, with Samsung's "Odyssey G90XF" adopting this technology.
Products are constantly innovating in form and design. ASUS ROG, TCL Thunderbird, Acer, HKC and others have all showcased curved products. The trend of larger product sizes is also more obvious. For example, TCL's 98-inch and Hisense's 100-inch TV products. While pursuing performance, manufacturers are also starting to pay attention to eye protection technology. Tianma and iQOO have related demonstrations.
Meanwhile, display technology is no longer limited to traditional screens, but is extending to more diverse smart devices. For example, the exhibition featured MSI's CLAW 8 handheld game console and Thunderbird X3 Pro AR glasses, showcasing the industry's innovative direction and development potential.
It's worth mentioning that we observed increasingly evident collaboration across the industry chain at this exhibition, especially at TCL CSOT's booth.
