The first 16-meter VLED giant screen sofa cinema in southwest Beijing has been opened.

On September 14, Beijing Jinyi Cinema West Chang'an Zhongjun World City Store announced that its original No. 5 giant screen theater has been upgraded to a VLED giant screen sofa theater, equipped with the first 16-meter 4K VLED movie screen in southwest Beijing.

The screen supports 4K resolution, HDR, and HFR formats, boasts 230% brightness compared to a standard theater, high contrast, and excellent color reproduction. The 16-meter widescreen features a 160° ultra-wide viewing angle, ensuring a good viewing experience for most seats in the theater.

The theater features a 12.1-channel sound system, achieving synchronized sound and visuals for enhanced immersion. The VLED screen boasts low power consumption and minimal heat dissipation, eliminating the need for a server room, allowing for increased seating capacity, and supporting viewing with the lights on as well as various other activities.

It is reported that the VLED LED cinema screen, launched by China Film Optics, adopts active light-emitting projection technology, with a brightness of approximately 230% that of a regular cinema, while also boasting ultra-high contrast, high refresh rate, and a 160° wide viewing angle. Currently, China Film Optics has launched products in various specifications ranging from 8 meters to 20 meters, and the VLED LED cinema screen has been installed in more than 20 cinemas nationwide.

It is worth mentioning that in August of this year, Hunan also added the largest CINITY LED reclining chair cinema in the country - CINITY LED Cinema Changsha Yinpenling Wanda Store.

The cinema has eight theaters, with Theater 1 being a CINITY LED theater. The screen is over 20 meters wide and over 10 meters high, supporting 4K 120fps resolution and equipped with Dolby Atmos. The 2D screen brightness is approximately six times that of a standard theater, and the 3D screen brightness is approximately two to three times that of a standard theater, ensuring a good viewing experience even with the main lights on. Theaters 1-8 are all equipped with electrically controlled leather reclining sofas, some of which can recline completely flat, and the sofas also have USB charging ports.
