According to recent reports from foreign media, Ford Motor Company is building a brand new headquarters building in Greenfield Village, Michigan, with a total area of approximately 194,900 square meters. The company will begin moving into the new building this November, and the building is scheduled to be fully completed in 2027.

The new headquarters will reportedly house six highly confidential design studios and a central design showroom. The showroom will feature ten rotating vehicle display stands and a massive 19.5-meter-long Micro LED screen. This screen will allow the design team to conduct comprehensive reviews of the entire vehicle product within a single space, making it one of the world's largest Micro LED displays.

It is understood that the application of giant Micro LED screens has precedents in the industry. As early as 2019, Sony installed what was then the world's largest Micro LED display at Shiseido's new research center in Yokohama, Japan. This was a "CLEDIS" panel with a resolution of 16K (15360×4320) and a size of 19.2×5.4 m.

In 2020, Leyard's joint venture, Lijing Micro, provided a 215.865㎡ P0.9 Micro LED display screen for the first floor of the dispatch center of China National Energy Group, and two P0.7 Micro LED displays for the east and west conference rooms on the second floor, each with an area of 5.67㎡ (4.2m wide x 1.35m high).

With a total area of 227 square meters, the project is considered the world's largest single Micro LED display project in terms of application area. (Compiled)
