In terms of display, the XREAL 1S uses a custom Sony Micro OLED screen, supporting 1200p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, covering 108% of the sRGB color gamut, with a color accuracy ΔE < 3. The screen brightness reaches a maximum of 700 nits and features millisecond-level light transmission/blocking switching and automatic dimming capabilities. The device has a 52° field of view, equivalent to a 385-inch screen at 10 meters, expandable to a maximum of 500 inches; 4086-node distortion correction is used to improve edge distortion.

In terms of performance, the XREAL 1S is equipped with a self-developed 4nm spatial computing chip, the X1, which integrates AI computing and spatial anchoring modules. The official claim is that the motion-to-image latency can be as low as 3 milliseconds. The chip supports frame interpolation and real-time 3D conversion, allowing some planar content to be presented in a near-3D format. The audio system was co-developed by XREAL and BOSE, using a multi-microphone array and noise reduction algorithms to enhance the viewing and call experience.

In terms of wearability and interaction, the XREAL 1S weighs 82g and features a balanced structure, adjustable hinges, flexible temples, and silicone nose pads to improve comfort during extended wear. The device offers three modes: stationary, follow, and widescreen, suitable for displaying content, mobile viewing, and multi-screen expansion. The USB-C interface allows connection to mobile phones, computers, and game consoles; some devices can be adapted using adapters.

In terms of pricing, the XREAL 1S is priced at ¥67,980 (approximately RMB 3,105) including tax, the XREAL Neo is priced at ¥14,580 (approximately RMB 666) including tax, and the bundle is priced at ¥76,560 (approximately RMB 3,496).

According to public information, XREAL was founded in 2017, and its products have covered markets including China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany. In May of this year, XREAL received a 200 million yuan exclusive investment from Pudong Venture Capital. Previously, the company had completed multiple rounds of financing, accumulating hundreds of millions of US dollars, with investors including Sequoia China, Yunfeng Capital, and China Renaissance Capital.

In terms of projects, in February 2024, XREAL's intelligent AR optical display module project, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, was launched in Kunshan, Suzhou; in October of this year, the company opened its global headquarters in Pudong, Shanghai, serving as a research and development, operations, and ecosystem collaboration center, further advancing its globalization strategy.
