The company has already provided motion capture technology to numerous domestic and international AR/VR glasses manufacturers.
Meanwhile, Leyard emphasized that Micro LED, as a self-emissive technology, is currently mainly used in medium and large-sized displays, widely serving the B2B and B2G markets. With technological breakthroughs and cost reductions, it will gradually penetrate the B2C market in the future, driving the widespread adoption of consumer products.
It is understood that Leyard's AI and spatial computing business evolved from its virtual reality business. Its core technology is optical motion capture, which covers the research, development, production and sales of motion capture products, provides AI and spatial computing solutions, and develops metaverse-related LED display products.
Recently, Leyard's self-developed high-end MIP production line, with its entire process in-house, officially entered mass production, with an initial capacity of 1,200KK/month and a second-phase capacity that will increase to 2,400KK/month. BOE and HC SemiTek: Fully Deploying in the Small-Size Micro LED Chip Field
On December 19, BOE Huacan disclosed its investor relations activity record, which showed that the company's AI glasses customers include startups, consumer electronics companies and internet companies, and have entered the research and development prototype and solution verification stage.
Currently, each full-color technology approach has its own advantages and disadvantages, requiring further refinement and verification in production. The company has made significant technological investments in the application of Micro LED chips in small-sized screens, including three-color bonding stacking technology, QD phosphor material technology, and three-monochrome optical synthesis technology. Product collaborations are ongoing.
On November 6th of this year, BOE's Micro LED wafer manufacturing and packaging testing base project commenced production in Zhuhai. This is the world's first 6-inch Micro LED mass production line. The Micro LED wafers and pixel elements produced therein will be primarily used in ultra-large and ultra-small high-definition display applications, including large-size commercial displays, AR/VR devices, and wearable devices.
Once the project reaches full production capacity, the annual output of Micro LED wafers will reach 24,000 wafer sets (6-inch wafers) and 45,000,000 pixel devices, further consolidating the company's technological and production capacity advantages in the Micro LED field.
Longli Technology: Micro LED is an important technological path for future AR glasses <br /> Longli Technology stated that the company has already deployed Micro LED technology and reserved related patents. Micro LED technology is an important technological path for future AR glasses, and the company will plan and apply it according to market demand in the future.
According to available information, Longli Technology specializes in the research, development, production and sales of backlight display modules. Its main products are backlight display modules, including LED and Mini LED backlight display modules, Micro LED display products and so on.
