On February 18, Cellid, a Japanese AR glasses optics manufacturer, announced that it will participate in the 2025 MWC Barcelona exhibition.

During MWC 2025, Cellid will provide interactive demonstrations that allow visitors to experience real-world applications of AR technology firsthand, including the AR glasses reference design (verification model) released last November and the latest waveguide technology.

According to available information, Cellid's core business is the development of AR glasses displays and spatial recognition engines. The company claims to be the world's first to develop the largest, widest-viewing-angle, and lightest waveguide display technology, and has successfully developed the world's first full-color projection technology using plastic materials.

In recent years, Cellid has created several AR glasses-related products, including the "Cellid Waveguide 60" AR glasses display module sample equipped with a 1.2 cubic centimeter single green Micro LED projector; the release of an AR glasses Micro LED optical module with a field of view of up to 60 degrees; and the AR glasses reference design released last year, which adopts an optical see-through waveguide display solution.

In February of this year, Cellid announced that it had completed a private placement of $13 million (approximately RMB 94.7895 million) in financing. Following this round of financing, Cellid's total financing amount has reached approximately $33 million (approximately RMB 237 million). (Compiled)
