According to "Chengdu Release", the first highlight of the Donglai Impression Comprehensive Operation Project in Jianyang, Chengdu, Sichuan Province - Pacific Cinema - is currently more than 90% complete in terms of decoration and is scheduled to officially open on December 17. At that time, the world's largest LED screen will be put into use.

Pacific Cinema is located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the podium of Building 8, Donglai Impression. The renovation is in its final stages. The cinema is equipped with the world's largest CINITY LED theater, which can provide an immersive movie-watching experience and has the right to screen new movies 30 hours in advance.
The theater uses a CINITY LED self-illuminating acoustically transparent screen, paired with a JBL Dolby Atmos system. Official information indicates that the screen's peak brightness is approximately 10 times that of a standard theater screen, and the theater can accommodate nearly 600 viewers.
The cinema has a total construction area of approximately 4,000 square meters and incorporates elements of Sichuan pandas and tea culture in its design. It includes six distinctive theaters, such as an LED special effects theater, a reclining chair theater, and a couples' theater. Currently, the public areas are largely complete and are in the stage of detailed construction and installation of customized equipment. Trial operation is expected to begin on December 10th.
It's worth mentioning that the cinema allows advance screenings. For example, Avatar 3 will be released nationwide at midnight on December 19, and this theater can screen it starting at 6 pm on December 17.
It is understood that the CINITY LED system is a high-end projection brand launched by China Film Group, which integrates seven major film projection technologies, including 4K, high brightness, high frame rate, wide color gamut, high dynamic range, and immersive sound, and all of them have passed DCI certification.
Recently, CINITY LED has been rapidly deployed in many places, such as the China Film International Cinema Garden City Store in Kunshan, Suzhou, the first 20-meter CINITY LED sound-permeable screen cinema in Hainan, and the first CINITY LED cinema in Jiande, Zhejiang, all of which have been put into use.
In addition, China Film Cinema Investment Co., Ltd. announced its cinema upgrade plan, which will focus on upgrading existing CGS giant screen cinemas to CINITY or CINITY LED.
